Electronic Arts' games are known to be as buggy as the Congo with the first launch.
This really sucks, because it means I can't pre-order Mass Effect 3, for fear that my anticipation will be met with a buggy let-down. So, I have to wait a couple of months for the patches to start rolling in. (Which is usually almost as big as the game itself)
On the plus side, waiting for the patches before getting the game saves me a buck or two.
Does anyone else feel that the Company should really put some effort into getting the games fixed before shipping?
