I feel like a kid again

This is the strangest feeling

I haven't had this feeling for ages, I think about a year and a 1/2 ago when I got WoW :o I played AA for ages and was pretty good at it. I love FPS games and apparently nothing is better than BF2 and COD4.

I'm sitting here like a kid the day before Christmas. Can't wait to get home and open my Presents :p

When last did any of you feel that way ?
 
I feel like that after i buy anything for my pc :)
especially hardware.
But theres nothing better knowing that youve got a selection of uber fun games to play when you get home - downside is trying to explain to GF/Wife why you want to sit infront of the pc all night instead of pampering her.

I've been playing wow for over a year, I think to her any game is better than WoW :D

Lol, well real sex is better than killing people online......just :p

Nha I also played a lot of Guildwars for about 9 months... then I just thought: "FFS there is still real life, rather spend more time there and just play online now and again"

But whatever floats your boat :D

Ive stopped playing wow purely because i just dont have the time.
I get about an hour here or there to play some FPS's games, which is way more rewarding than spending an hour playing a role playing mmo.
Trying to get gf into playing some games, just bought her a lappy that can run most games, but getting her to actually play is proving quite difficult. If im successful ill have some more time to play :)

Have her play titan quest first. Then upgrade here to other games :D
 
ffs, on the network I only get a 9kbps download /cry

Looks like I'll have to do it from home, meaning no online play tonight :(
 
nah..Where do u fella's get the time? Didn't even get a chance to have a look at WoW yet, to busy either working,working wait working and then in between trying to fit in time for friends and family which is hard enough already. Really envy you guys for having the time to be able to do that. I mean seriously what do you guys do for a living?

I've spent fair amount of time with guys who do play/obsess. I've got two profiles and used to play 2006/7; haven't played this year (that would involve an install... is so much easier when there's a guy willing to sit through that pain for me!). If ADSL comes through next month (pending exchange capability), I hope to play it occasionally- I'll PM you and we can play together (ie you can let me tag along with your squad :D)??

Once I have a full update I can mail you the patch and you can come play with me :)
 
BF2 isn't really my scene. I end up flying airplanes into the ground to see when the last possible second is for me to eject before I die. I totally don't even pay attention to shooting people and my team gets pissed off with me when I crash the helicopter.

I like destroying things too much
