I finally bought the 600d:)..now what?

Hi guys, so finally after saving for a while i finally managed to buy the 600d and have started learning how to use the camera properly. it's really awesome and you pick up really quickly how to use

I'm just really paranoid about leaving my flat with it are there any safe places where I can take decent photographs in joburg without getting mugged?

How about the zoo? Sure, purists will object to photographing animals in captivity, but it can still be great fun, and valuable practice.

Walter Sisulu Botanical Gardens in Roodepoort.

Went to the botanical gardens in rosebank over the weekend. Was awesome. Just a bit dry at the moment. Take stuff for a picnic.

PTA zoo i must say you will be safe and get very nice pics there as well

Drive through to the Lion Park where you can photograph lions in a "natural" habitat.
Alternatively the Rhino & Lion Park, which has a much better animal interaction experience.
