I finally got myself an Oculus VR

The best use I had for my Oculus Rift was Elite Dangerous. Played every evening for a long while. It's just amazing flying around in space in VR. Haven't played in a while however.

I might just try that.

Anyone here with a VR have pets and do they look at you strangely? like dafuq is my hooman doing?

Or I wonder what would happen if I brushed up against my hooman right now :-)

ya they look at you weird, my wife was trying it out and the dog was like what you doing

I went fishing earlier.

They have like a VR world where you go and their are other people, but it feels awkward for now, I do want to find time to join one of their meetings when they discuss different topics, you can sign up for a topic that interest you but its all around USA time zones.

I'd rather ask people with experience, however, I should make my own thread
LOL, all good dude. Anyhow yeah, my laptop failed both on the graphics and cpu, but I knew anyhow it wasn't powerful enough for a Rift.

The heading of this thread is misleading, I almost thought it's an article by staff writer.

??????? so I didn't get an Oculus VR then???? hmmm, well ok, I wonder whats this VR thingy I'm playing with is then.:whistling::eek:

So today I sort of figured out that I can cast what I am looking in my headset at to my phone, but its very finicky. I was watching some instructions on youtube that in developer mode you can cast to your PC using VLC and blah blah but it didn't work for me.

Any here have an Oculus and are casting to a PC??? probably not :p
