I'm using Telkoms 3G internet and I was wondering would it be possible to still have the dongle from telkom and go to that Cell C 24GB internet thing???:)

It might be possible, You can purchase the WhooosH! sim card for R999. Just make sure the dongle supports 900Mhz otherwise you'll be stuck on edge.
 
Will it work? I have got an old Nokia N79 so i am wondering if it will work with the new cell c internet and if i need to install some cell c software? If i purchase a cell c prepaid sim on some Data bundle will i get these speeds too?:confused:

Depends on the model of your current modem. Which modem did you get with telkom?
/also buy a prepaid sim and test it first.

The N79 seems 900MHz utms capable http://www.gsmarena.com/nokia_n79-2497.php so it should work. No Cell C software required. You might need to configure the internet settings on the phone...

im using the E220 HSDPA USB MODEM... Would I be able to just get the software from them and the simcard that comes with the package?
 
Step One - Before coughing out R999 for data sim card, rather save yourself the trouble and spend R10+- buy a CELL C Sim card from R0,10c - R0,99 and purchase air time and check if you have coverage to the "Woooosh Service" wouldn't like you coughing out your hard earned money only to find yourself stuck in the stone age(slow speeds,takes for ever for pages to load etc)

Would not help if he uses it in his E220 to test. Charlkie do you have a phone that is 900MHz utms capable? Check on GSMArena.com
 
E220 does not work. I have 2, use 1 on MTN (contract balance 1 month).
