never liked the first one much so didnt play it , also thanks to diablo 1 + 2 + expansion keeping me busy back in the day.

anyways there seems to be problem when going to the custom game search lobby , im sure all of you know about the "most popular maps" showing up first and blah.

I was wondering, if i download a few maps for a lan night and keep it in a folder to upload to the blizzard servers when we "lan". i can simply just invite my friends to join my game and kick any other players that actually want to play with? Would this method work as i havent tried it yet , only got the game 2 days ago and busy doing some research on google tooo

Yes your idea works. You could also just create a party and play like that.

Create a party than host the map you've downloaded. If your on a LAN with a router they will download the map at LAN speeds from your computer.
