Luckily I haven't personally met someone who does this... but the day I do, I will punch them in the face.

seen a few to many CV's where the candidate says they have Java Skills, which end up just being a jquery knowledge.

Or my personal favorite was a Job Spec that required a Java Developer for a Web Application written in PHP. A Basic PHP, MySQL application

I did this in a meeting once. I referred to something as Java and then somehow beyond my own volition, the appendix 'script' slipped from my mouth. I was witnessing myself make the error in real-time, and once it had irrupted from my bowels it could never be taken back. I think those guys still patronise me.
