I hate telkom!!

I just phoned telkom 15 times in a time span of 2 hours.

I want them to upgrade my line (Area - Florida Park) to 10mb.

- I call number 0800375375 - they said my area only has 1mb line support **IVE HAD a 4mb FOR 2 YEARS ALREADY!!*** .... the lady tells me i should phone 10215 for more info on the area's line speed.

- I call number 10215 - they guy tells me my area supports 10mb and i must called 10219 to activate it..

- I call 10219 - After retyping my house number over and over... i finally got through.. The person who answers tells me i should Phone 0800375375....

and so it repeats it self... over and over and over!

I honestly dont know how to get that 10mb line!.

any ideas?
 
I have had exactualy the same thing happening to me, I had a lady on 10219 tell me i was on 10meg so i told her my router was only syncing at 4meg, im then told my router is faulty. so i phone again after many people from telkom have told me my exchange is 10 meg ready, to be told my exchange cant support 10 megs.
I have no idea what on earth is going on.
 
Whahahahaha Dude i had the exact same thign a few weeks ago dont worry i also ranted !
 
Wtf I phoned the number and ask the man to please bump me up to 10meg he did it while I was on the phone
 
yeah plz inform us... it seems to me .. everytime i speak to someone from telkom... they are complete dumb ass's
 
Wait for them to do it for you, like the rest of us are doing. If you'd read previous threads about the upgrades, you'd know this.
They will do it, be patient and forget about it so long - it's not worth your time, chances are if you try get it done yourself you wont be successful, wait for them.

10219 11 am 1ste time when I asked to be bumped up 31 august 2010
0800375375 8:05 am. in the morning asked to be bumped down to 8meg since keeps dropping on 10meg. 2 September 2010
 
Sadly thats Telkom for you ._. Bunch of people who I think barely know what they're doing
