Jacqui never replies she has about 4 of my emails read and just sits there

My line is completely down when I came home now. Worked perfectly when I went out this morning.

So your line went down yesterday and you've already e-mailed a Company executive? if that's the case I would not reply either were I in her position, it sets a bad precedence, very soon the whole of SA will be reporting faults to her.

Probably find that his mail is directed straight to her spam box :D

This has been ongoing for 49 days now

I'm still waiting for the telkom rep on here too.
 
I am also having a horrible time with Telkom. Have been trying for 3 weeks to get my line upgraded.
After my order not being process 3 times in a row, and when it is finally processed, it gets cancelled
because it was the incorrect order. Now, 3 weeks later and fed up, I finally go to the Telkom store only
told that my area does not support the line speed Im looking for.
So, again I call the callcentre and they insist that the speed I want is possible, so I place the order again,
and have to wait 7-14 days more before the order is complete.
I was told when I place the order this time, that an order number would be sent to me via sms.
That was yesterday, Im still waiting.
Cant wait for fibre, then I can finally launch these incompetent idiots.

I have been trying to cancel a telkom LTE contract since November, every time I phone I just get told it has been escalated.

Me too. They told me the backlog is 3 to 4 months. And that I should just pay, then claim the money back once its cancelled. So I walked into a nearby store and changed the payment options from debit order to EFT. Now they can go **** themselves.
 
Anyone have a working contact email address to cancel my ADSL account?

It seems All of us in SA have the same problem with telkom.Wtf man.Can some billionaire or investors not come and take us out of our misery.I know Neotel tried but failed.Maybe they need to partner with investors to get them smooth running.I would really like to know why there is nobody willing to be in competition with Telkom.Telkom currently has the golden egg.We all pretty much f$#@%d..

Im waiting almost a month for my adsl line to be installed.Many hello peter complaints...Resolver complaints...emails...phone calls...
Even on my broadband..Guess what...Im still in the same boat..WTF man..Must a person get violent 1st before a reaction from telkom.If so ..then the cops pick you up as if you wrong...No man....This is serious crap...Come on ..The people with the huge huge coffers....Invest in an infrastructure thats good..well run....customer friendly.....and take on telkom please man..
 
With my experience so far its safe to say that if you have a fault on your line and it's a cable fault, you're completely screwed. Doesn't look like they fix cable faults anymore.
