So, I moved to my new house on the 15th of last month. I asked Telkom to cancel my lines on and re install the same setup at my new home by the 15th. I subsequently left for the US leaving my girlfriend here to sort out the new house and let Telkom in to do their thing.
Turns out the lines got installed only on the 6th of this month!
She then called them to apply for one line to be ADSL enabled. Turns out, that line only worked for one day, then broke on the 8th! She reported the fault.
Someone called the working line on the 9th to say that the ADSL line was ready... The line still is not working!
I arrived here yesterday, needless to say, I wasn't impressed. I called them this morning, they assured me that they were aware of the fault and that someone was working on my exchange today. Still nothing!
I'm going in to a Telkom shop tomorrow to crack some heads!
