I am going to send e-mails to the WBS helpdesk at 10 minute intervals. This should hopefully serve two purposes:

1. They might (and I said might) respond on one of the e-mails.
2. This will help me reach my cap so I can get stable speeds :D

Maybe we should all do it, with 20meg attachments...

IMO: I think you would just be spamming the Helpdesk which would be ineffective since they don't have the power & authority to change the situation, I suggest that you rather email [email protected] ;).

From my experience, I don't think it will make any difference. Managment at WBS seems to only pass the buck around, including the CEO. I emailed Shaun on the 11th about the slow speeds, and cc'ed it to sasan & thami. The only response I got back was Shaun forwarding that email to luis. Then nothing. I emailed Shaun again today, and cc'ed sasan, thami & lui. And guess what - the only response I've had was thami forwarding my mail to all the cc's, including me, asking if someone has done anything about this customer. *sigh* :(

Sometime during pre-launch (sometime in March I think), Sasan called me [on my cell] when I was on my way to Jhb Intnl, to cr@p all over me, claiming that he had something like 10 emails from me in his Inbox, and that I should stop sending him emails - I had not been in the office all day...

I suppose you could try:
To: Sasan Parvin; Thami Mtshali
Cc: ITWeb
or something like that, don't think ITWeb would be happy with receiving more than one identical email though.

well, i haven't been disconnected since this afternoon, however some of my downloads are going slowly eventhough i am getting good speeds. i think there are many verification packets that are going past.

Guys,

Yet again me pathetic attempt at some comedy in our hours of need. Thank goodness I didn't opt for that stand-up comedy gig! :D
