I went on holiday and left my phone at a petrol station... Now I am stuck using a SE Walkman dumb phone.

Going to get myself one of the RBM HD's(Huawei U8800) and will give a full report when launched.

Until then please just have a little cry for me!:cry:

Sucks when that happens!

I am quite interested to hear what you think of the Huawei U8800, having previously used the Galaxy.
 
Well I was having a row with my fiancées friend and when I drove off I wasn't paying attention. We called it 5 min later but the phone had already been turned off. Changed my google password so not worried about my data and thankfully I sync my contacts so no problems there.

My advice is make sure you don't go on holiday with 2 women only unless you are meeting up with friends.

Still it gives me the opportunity to review the RBM HD... yes I am looking on the bright side. It is the only way I won't cry into my pillow all night!!
 
Next time install a GPS tracking app like Lookout. Might have been able to save your phone unless the thief was smart.
 
Wow, that sucks... A sweet smartphone is one of the worst things you can lose, apart from your driver's license. Or an arm. Maybe.
 
i have wavesecure installed on mine. install a new sim and it is locked.

i can then wipe data over the web. and i can taunt with messages.

there's probably a way to disable it, like flashing. but i am guessing most people who steal the phones have no idea about that.

Sounds a bit pointless, but did you have insurance on the phone?
 
dam that sux big time I would die. thats the reason I always have insurance on my phones cos I also tend to do stupid things like that

The problem withthis is they can go to any small cellphone shop and ask them to flash it for R200

Got me a new galaxy. With the new firmware. Totally unbranded as it's a cell c phone. Love it.

Nice. Was just about to try and sell you my RBM phone. I'll be getting one shortly. Already got a Desire HD, so will sell the RBM.

You buy the SGS cash? How much?
