i lost my u700 at ixia

my u700 had a problem so my friend recommended that i take it to ixia for repair,now they're liquidated,do u think there's anyway in which i can claim it back or it's just gone?it's a contract phone and this is my 5th payment today,is anyone there with the same story.
 
...why didn't you take it to your SP? it should be under warranty?
 
no insurance

i was told that because it didnt have any insurance then it wont be covered.im stressed.
