I.M spam on Android

A few weeks back I get the Alert message check my phone and see an unfamiliar icon which says "IM" check it out and it's from some spam email address something like [email protected] and chose to block the person and now i just received another this time from [email protected] anybody else experience this?

Like when you get a message from whatsapp but instead the whatsapp icon theres a strange icon saying IM

No idea. You're probably going to have to go through the apps you installed recently and uninstall them to see if it stops.

Or read the comments on the market.

Is probably an app that isn't mainstream or does something not so legal. Like an mp3 download app for eg.
