i made a huge mistake with dstv decoder

it wasnt working signal was very choppie

couldnt get hold of anything but the computer man there so went through the stps, it then stop working so i saw retore default factory settings

but before i could see factory i had clicked ok


what happens now?>

take it back, have them swop it out for free.

They charged me threehundred and something for a swop last year. It's free if you have a maintenance contract.
If you restored factory defaults everything should work as normal if nothing is wrong with the decoder.

Blue screen.... when you did a factory reset, the TV channel settings were also reset to the default settings - retune your TV to get the decoder signal. Resetting factory defaults will restore all the settings it came out with including the Pas 7/10 settings so it should work unless there is a hardware fault on the decoder.

Help please

Anybody know where I can get hold of a free to air receiver?
Been playing around with an old DStv decoder and got some nice channels on it like FTV and Extreme TV for free!
I know there are still hundreds of other channels out there just waiting to be tapped, but you need a free to air decoder/receiver for it because monopolychoice's decoder only has certain setting for you to adjust.
Please, anybody, I really need some help.
Oh, and btw, google didn't turn up 1 single place in SA where you gan get a FTA satellite receiver.
