Hi guys

i need a basic app created that can help teachers in a school with IT calls and tickets etc.

Do you know where i can go to get this done ? i dont mind if there are any guys here who would like to take on this ?

no man for goodness sake, lol dude im new to apps and i dont know what shelf is...
Basically you get a app register with name, surname, email address, if you need IT assistance you open app click a big red button, put in description of problem and it sends a email to the helpdesk with your name, surname and email address with the description of the issue.. thats what i need
 
Why don't the school just email the the description of the issue directly?

To have an app with a text box and a button is... nah man...
 
to make it simple, its quick to pull out a phone open app and hit a button that to open laptop open email, write the email and send ? am open to suggestions tho ?

I still fail to see what the issue is?
You have an email app on your phone right?
 
ok so whats a easy way for staff to book IT issues where i can track at the end of the month, we have tried to ask them to send emails to helpdesk and they dont ? they still contact us directly,
 
i am that guy and there is no IT ticket solution in place, im trying to get something in place but what ?
 
Yeah true dude... The more you try help these fools the harder it is, do you guys know any IT ticketing solutions that are free but not a pain to use ?

But, the staff is still going to have to open a laptop or Trello app on the phone I guess, just to do this...

I would suggest @gregmcc recommendation.
 
Use fresh desk or zen desk or zoho

Cost saved with a self hosted self managed solution is a false sell

Zoho has a bunch of apps.
Zen Desk is built for this.

Some free options are to just give them a form, and then you collect the data in a sheet or database.

But you can customize notion to your hearts desire and also create a ticket template to help you keep track of solved or urgent tickets etc.

Another option is just a WordPress site linked with a Database and a form plug in to capture data.

Oh, and you can also use something like Airtables, which is brilliant as well.
