Hi folks,

I need to buy a couch, but I don't want to spend a fortune. I've had terrible service from one of the big (and rather pricy) furniture places, so I don't want to deal with them again.

Any thoughts on where one can buy a decent corner couch around Johannesburg for R15k or less? I even had a look at House & Home over the weekend. They're a bit cheap, and I'm not sure if you get what you pay for in terms of quality.

Where else should I go?

Cheers,
_Dogbert

Have a look around for companies that can make you one to your size and material specifications.
Got mine made in DBN by order and work out around 11k

furniture-warehouse, decorfurn, comfy-couch look at those places for a single two/three seater look at about R4k upwards.

Coricraft’s factory shop in Wynberg.

coricraft factory and ufo (check their weekly specials online)

We bought some furniture from here about 8 years ago. Main couch started deteriorating 2 years ago but I think most couches (in this range) would do the same after 5 years of use. They got branches in Boksburg, randburg and centurion. We bought couch set from randburg branch.

Thanks folks, I'll check out the options.

Ninja'd, is that a stain on your couch?

Coricraft Factory outlet in Wynberg.

I got a Kariba L shape for 16000. Normal price at the time was 27k. It had a tear which had been repaired. Barely noticeable now.
