I need a new battery charger

I need a new battery charger but can't find one that fits my budget and specifications.
And I don't want one of those stupid smart chargers because they won't work for my intended purpose(I don't only charge batteries I use it to power stuff as well)

Budget
R1.5k might go higher if I can see the value in it.

Specs
Needs to do 12v and 6v 10amps (the higher the better)
Needs to have a knob to select amperage.


Ps the fuse is their for a reason don't put a bigger one in because the previous one blew for a reason. If the fuse can't blow the hole battery charger is going to.

I can repair mine I just need a full bridge rectifier and can't find one that is cheaper than a new battery charger.

So let me get this straight, you can't find a charger that fits your requirements within your budget, but you can repair your old one, however your concerned that its gonna cost as much as a new one, and yet you can't find a new one within the budget. So thus, you can'treally buy a new one for the cost of the repair, correct?

Not sure what the problem is here.

Seems like you're looking for a power supply not a charger? For "power stuff"?

To the experts, does a battery charger and power supply not do differrent things.

If you need a power supply, buy a power supply which can provide the relevant amps, as your device will only draw the amps needed.

No I use it for electrolysis to clean swartpotte it works stupidly good until the 2 pieces of metal touch and kill your battery charger because you put a too big fuse in the battery charger

You can't find a 10A full bridge rectifier that's less than R1500? Where are you looking, Incredible Connection?

Here's a 25A rectifier for R19. Obviously this might not be the right one for your application but they're cheap as chips (Woolies chips nogal). Head over to communica with the broken one and they should be able to recommend a replacement.
