I need a new headset help please

Hi there

My Cyba snipa 5.1 headset decided that we will not be friends anymore.

I was very happy with the sound quality the only problem I had was the mic was not long enough.

Could you please suggest another headset that I can look at to replace mine?

I want one with very good sound and comfort with a mic.

Any suggestions will be appreciated.
 
I went from cyber snipa to a logitech g330, i was a bit skeptical at first because of the way it looks but it is the best headset i have ever owned and i have owned quite a few.
 
Anybody here have a wireless headphones/headsets? Are they worth it?

How much was it?

Can you use it for gaming? I would love to have a wireless headset, when i need to piss during a long gaming session i just up and go :D.

LOL

The only ones I saw was XGR and Philips. The XGR one was R150 and the Philips was R350.
 
I got a pair of chinese things at Matrix for about R350. Was not expecting much out of them. But I am pleasently surprised to say the least. They are 5.1 and the mic is very clear and easily adjustable. They are even quite comfy! For the life of me I can't recall the name ... :(

After going through 2-3 logitechs I decided to try the Microsoft livechat usb I think its called.

Been very happy so far and they weren't even too expensive, think less than R400.
 
You can't fault Sennheiser's on quality. They are really comfortable and block out external noise. Search ebay.com for the 350s sometimes you can get hold of a pair for about R1400-1800 including shipping.
 
1400-1800 for headphones :eek: Goodness at the rate i go through them i will broke :D.

For some reason whether i buy 700 rand ones of 100 rand ones one of the speaks always fuks out :(.
 
My recommendation would also be for the Roccat Kave. They're the best gaming 5.1 headset in their price-range. Supplier expects more stock at the end of Jan.

How much are they because they look awesome, friggen hell i hate things computer stuff :(, addiction to nice stuff is expensive.
 
I think they are about R900. I also want the Kave. Put some pressure on your supplier there Wootware and inform us as soon as you have stock. :)
