I currently have a 5 year old huawei p10 plus and it really needs to get replaced. I'm not in the market for the best phone out there. I just need a decent one, with reasonable performance and camera quality and a good battery life. Not looking for anything over R5000 as I'm paying cash.

I was looking at the redmi note 12 or hisense infinity H60. But as I have never actually seen or worked with any one of these phones it's hard to actually make a decision.

Please help me decide.

had a redmi before was happy with that

I saw on a few other post you're extremely anti xiaomi lol
I've only ever owned Xiaomi's. My current one is my last one.

They have endless issues due to low quality components and quality control and they are infested with ads and adware. They dont get updates etc. etc.

Which Xiaomi's are you owning..? I have owned the redmi note 9 pro, note 10 pro, wife the note 11 pro and I now have the note 12 pro..

We have not seen a single ad, had any issues with components or build quality or any gripes at all, for that matter..

Agree 100%, On my 2nd Xiaomi now and have never to this day had a single issue with any of the hardware or software. Not once.

Ignore @WAslayer he is owned by our Chinese overlords.

Dude, I have not had a single one that hasn't given any issues.

Note 4, Note 8, Note 9S, Redmi 9T.

Pick your poison.

I'm not interested in Apple, and also not in Samsung. Had a Samsung A70 and literally went back to my Huawei it was that bad.

It seems like any brand other than Huawei is a problem for you.. what's the issue with their offerings?

Just read through the Xiaomi thread. You are a minority customer.
