I need help

I dont know what to do with my life anymore.

This year I have lost next to everything. It has just been pain and suffering

I tried to start my own business and that failed. I had a short job but that changed and I couldn't work there anymore.

Then my partner of 5 years says its over. Fine fair enough, it wasnt working out, hurts like hell but whatever.

The problem is, the deal was that I would get a job and move with her and her dad when we need to, a month or 2.

Well, she has just told me that she wants me out as soon as possible, and I cant move with them. I have nowhere to go, and no clue what to do.

From this point I think im ready to give up on life. :cry:
 
My father passed this year, my moms retired, and my handicapped sister is living with her in a caravan home

Maybe list some of your experience here.
Who knows, someone might be able to throw you a bone :-)
 
There are guys on here that will help if they can and if you are honest and hard working but understand that they will put their reputation on the line for someone they dont know so please dont screw them over.
List your skills and experience and hopefully the community will help with getting you back on your feet.

While not nearly as bad as you I will be very happy to see the end of 2014 it was pretty tough on me too and a few of the things you mentioned happened to me as well. All I can say is if you get through the ditch it will get better so hang in there and keep fighting.
 
Thanks for the help so far.

I have experience in facilities management, have my A+, I have retail experience, I ran various parts of a busy country lodge, I have repaired and fixed tons of PCs

I do not have matric however.

I do have reliable transport, and am willing to learn anything new.
 
Had a year or two like that before myself. Sometimes life sucks but we deal with it because we have to.
 
Sorry to hear about your bad times Bradley. But let me tell you something from experience. We all have BAD times. What trumps the crappy times is our resilience and determination. What helps during those times is the knowledge of knowing that it will get better. Life is a see-saw for everyone. If it wasn't life would be boring.

How many times has your life sucked because you got fired, your gf dumped you, you made a bad mistake? But you bounced back right?

People will help provided you don't burn bridges. Just have hope and act like a weed. "Onkreid vergaan nie" -weeds cannot die...You'll bounce back
 
Trust me - it could be worse. I like to quote Churchill 'When you are going though hell - keep on going.'

Just step back and look at what you have and what you can do. Time to kick karma in the nuts.
You seem to have the right attitude - here's hoping someone here can give you a leg up.
And hey - like Wolverine pointed out - you could always join the police. :whistle:

The key is that you must be able to get up more times than you get knocked down, then you'll win this game.

I always read the below Desiderata to give me inspiration and focus in my life again, maybe it can help you as well :

I'm so sorry to hear about what's going on in your life.

I wish 2015 will be the turning point for you. Write down everything good you want to happen. Then read it aloud in front of the mirror every morning and every night before you go to bed, think about it and visualize it.

Most important you need to get rid of all the negative people in your life and be ruthless about it. They're toxic and suck out all your energy and anything good that could happen for you. I know it's hard, but forget your ex. At least now you know she's not worth it. No good or decent person would leave you when you're down. I had a horrible time a few years ago and I was thankful, but only afterwards, because it helped me to see who my true friends were. The rest are trash that you should be happy to be rid off. You won't see it now, but later you will.

Just don't give up on life yet. Things are looking up already with the job offers here.

Hi all, thank you for the kind words. I have realised that alot of people in my life currently are very negative and are literally trying there best to look down on me. So off with them.

Now, onto the assistance people have given RE jobs. Thank you VERY much.

Marvy, I am already in bedfordview, so going anywhere in JHB is perfectly fine, I will mail you in a secondo.

ANT_MAN, I will also consider your offer, although relocating will be tougher.
