Say I want to buy a car of R150 000 and I can place a deposit of R50 000, what would the monthly payment be roundabout?

I'm considering buying a newer car than the old one I have. I'm aiming for a model not older than 3/4 years.

Also, if anyone has some useful tips and experiences they want to share with me, feel free!

You can get accurate calcs from any of the numerous bank websites playing around with interest rates.

Less than R 3k about R 2 800 give or take, depending on the interest rate over 52 months.

There are tricks though, give 10% deposit only, get finance for the full value instead of the lesser, once approved drop the rest into the loan. You should get a better rate. But you need to play around with it a bit.
