WE have a Truserv Server with Hetzner,
Our available bandwidth is being used up at an alarming rate (we are only running 2 sites of said server).
Although Hetzer are willing to give us reports saying that x amount of bandwidth was used (it does not break down the logs into what was used for email / http etc)
I contacted hetzner and asked them to setup port monitoring, they tell me they cannot do such a thing, and we must do it ourselfs....
So the question is, what (preferably freeware) software can I use to monitor how much bandwidth is being consumed for email and http traffic daily?
any advise would be greatly appreciated.
