Clearly some women are conniving underhanded b1tches who don't actually trust the men that they're with.

Like I said, if my gf tried that with me she would be shown the door and kicked out.

I actually pity them - they have been socialized to think that this is how women ought to behave. The magazines tell them to do so, their own mothers tell them to do so. They try things like that in the real world, and a lot of the time, it ends badly for them. And they wonder why.

We could further say that men have only one thing on their minds and OGroteKoning proved that very nicely :D
Plus she totally owned you trolls with that poem :p

And now what? We should all go down and worship MsDenz as myBB's ultimate BallBreaker™?

Ok, you seem to be missing the point that she hypothetically said "Go out with my friends."...

I'm a guy, that is what I hear, that is permission in my books. Like I said earlier in the thread, if I get into trouble for pretty much following was what said to me, I will kick that person to the kerb.

if you actually listen and agree there is something wrong

like when a lady says its ok and its fine

leave it at that

Lol. How old are some of these blokes in this thread ? Can't be more than 16, according to the replies.

I'm jealous of MsDenz hubby now :)
Yip, they're all members of The Little Rascals He-Man Women Haters Club. Here's the oath they took;
I ____ a member in good standing of the He-Man Women Haters Club do solemnly swear to be a he-man and hate women and not play with them or talk to them unless I have to. And especially never fall in love. And if I do, may I die slowly and painfully and suffer for hours or until I scream bloody murder.

Some of them took their oath very seriously.

I will say it all depends on the tone that its said in... for instance if I'm discussing the option with my gf and she gets irritated and says "FINE!, just go out then"... I will not bloody leave the house, but if she puts forward the offer before any discussion or anything like that, then I'm going to take it at face value and take it as permission or her blessing.

Wow did you pass high school?

None of us have ever said that ALL women communicate like this. Or that all women are bitches.

I just refuse to date any women who try to use mind games or double speak.

Quite the leap to go from there to misogyny.

Its actually about self-respect, something that the guys who agree with MsDenz seem to lack. I wont let anyone treat me like that, male or female. I wont let anyone walk all over me.

Why do you ignore the part where she said it's a trap, something a woman is capable of understanding. Only someone who is clueless about women would then attack her. That speaks of an immature women hating mind!

I'm out of this thread. I'm really not in the mood for this crap today. My intention in providing a hypothetical situation was to show that a woman expects a man to read between the lines. I approached the thread with a sense of humour and expected it to be returned.Unfortunately some men took offense. Not all women are bitches and I do apologise for any misunderstanding.

Women who want to date or marry a mind reader should go out with Patrick Jane or similar and leave the rest of us alone.

I think anyone who assumes that their partner has the same communication style as them is bound for troubles. Its a mistake for a woman to assume that her man can read her mind, just as it is a mistake for a man to assume that a woman is really okay when she says she is "FINE!".

Of course, if you have been with your partner for a while, then perhaps you know how they communicate, and the woman might be able to assume that her man will pick up on her hints, based on past performance. And a man might be able to assume that a woman is really okay when she says she is fine.

Assumption, as they say, is the mother of all...

Understanding it is one thing, she said it's something she would actually do.

Nice persecution complex there. No one said that, just that those who pull nonsense like you said you would are immature and/or partially crazy.

Men are just as capable of playing evil mind games, those guys are bitches too. This has nothing to do with sexism.

It's really sad when people allow for their partners to mess with them and then up trying to convince other people that's how a relationship should work. Stockholm syndrome anyone?

My gf doesn't double-speak, think of ways to trick me or any rubbish like that. She speaks her mind just as I do. I really feel for anyone that has to put up with that type of person for a partner.

Thanks but no thanks, you can keep you real world advice to yourself, or write to Heat maybe they'll publish it for you.
