i sonic psu

hey guys

any one have any issues with this psu?? isonic 500w psu, mine doesnt switch off when i shut down, this is the 3rd one iv had in a month that this has happened, any idea or own experiances???

iSonic ain't exactly the most reliable make in the world (imo). They are really cheap so one cannot expect much from them. I have heard waaay too many people having problems with them. Some of them work fine, but problems with them just keep on popping up.

Just get a brand name, like coolermaster or something well known, 460W PSU - Your PC won't need any more than a 460W in any case. Just don't get the [-]500W[/-] 550W one

Oops, Typo . I mean the Coolermaster extreme power 550W. You had one and you saw how loud the fan gets - problem with that specific model. Any other model should be fine.

Yep, that is the one I would go for. It is the one I currently have in my system. It is Dead silent. It should power your system without any problems, even with future upgrades. The one at prophecy is also about the cheapest one you'll be able to get.
