Me and my wife is trying to get pregnant.
Been trying for 4 months now but not like everyday.
Was just wondering how long it took for you guys before you became parents and if you could offer any constructive advice.

Don't 'try' to hard. Just shag regularly and it will happen naturally. Not sure how else to say it :/

Biology 101 lesson: Men cannot fall pregnant. :D

For me, she used to raise her legs into the air afterwards, didnt take long, few attempts and she was positively pregnant. Sex was great then, she would always initiate it, and I would always oblige, however, this state of arousal for her diminishes once she gives birth.

I've heard many couples who have had issues trying to conceive, and doc's best advice to them is just don't stress about it, it will come naturally. If not, seek professional medical opinion, you could be shooting blanks. :D

Firstly you should have started "My wife and I" grammar lesson over :p

Popular misconception is that the MORE you try the better your chances. I don't want to preach to you but here it goes. God determines who becomes pregnant (well that's what most people believe) The MORE you concentrate on becoming pregnant the less the chance. Your stress levels has a influence your bio chemistry which is kinda important. My wife's cousin tried for many years to have a child. After 9 years they gave up. A month after my wife fell pregnant (2 years after we got married) her cousin did. They now have 4 girls and have a happy family. Moral of the story DO NOT TRY SO HARD ENJOY THE EXPERIENCE of trying :)
 
I always think its funny that married couples struggle to have babies but if you get drunk and have a one night stand, a pregnancy is almost inevitable.
 
Doctors advice was not to stress as this is the main culprit.
Not recommending a sperm count as this is unnecessary at my age and could also contribute to the stress.
Problem is, my wife is the one that is stressing about it and I sometimes feel like Scott from Keeping up with the Kardashians.

Problem is according to my doctor, is that we constantly think about it and a woman secretes something which kills the sperm.
Apparently this was to prevent pregnancy in the olden days when the living conditions wasn't good.
Teenagers and drunks stress levels are low because they don't care about the consequences of their actions which favors their chances.
 
i been trying hard for almost 2 years and guess wat this December after having given up. she got Preggie
s my advise is enjoy it and dont think about it much it will happen. enjoy the experience that lead there
 
you know what they say Practice makes perfect..... he he he
otherwise just get drunk one night, and pretend youv'e never seen your wife before and then shag her...... chances are she'll be pregnant afterwards....just a thought

Well let's see...
- I work in a National Keypoint area which tests for alcohol upon entry.
- I don't drink.

But I might just suggest me and my get high someday ;).
