not blaming you, i understand he drove into you, but leaving without any details is just irresponsible. if you feel very unsafe wait in your car until someone can arrive as this could come back to bite you in the rear.
 
Isnt driving away from an accident scene without phoning the police a crime anyway?
 
Just go to the police station, state the facts and say the driver looked suspicious and you left without getting his details. Later when you get a summons from some insurance then at least you have your part covered.
 
A lady scratched my right fender while trying to overtake me in PTA CBD in 2009...

We sorted out the details and my car was fixed. I ended up having an affair with her that lasted for three months. :( It was weird. But I enjoyed it muchly!!! :love:

Err... alright then! So what you're saying is that if OP actually bothered with getting the other guy's details, this thread title may have been more descriptive of what actually happened?
 
I went to a police station last evening and filled in a report. They gave me an AR number.
