So...here I am...a South African...robbed...in a game...WTF!!??

Saturday, 11:30 am (CET) I was busy boosting a friend and some other random chars in ZF...i get whispered by a guy about the Gut Ripper dagger I had on AH (epic). Said he wanted to buy it from me as he can't wait and only has 120g (the starting bid). Told him, I'll meet him in Org at the bank.

Now you're all thinking...how stupid of me :p...well I didn't know...till now :(

Got there and we made the trade...as soon as I hit trade, he changed the 120g to 12g...I told him its only 12g and he said he knows and sets me to ignore :eek: then logs off! What the hell??!!! Can't we South African's even play on international servers without being robbed blind!?

Geez!

The char's name was Iamas (or something similar) on the EU server Dentarg realm...

For those who don't know...be warned.

Log a ticket with the time a date and a gm will help

Sold a bow to a guy for 180g he told me 90 now 90 later then put me on ignore

GM got on, helped me, got the bow back and kept the 90
 
Always wait till the other party have alreay clicked trade (their trade window changes green). Then click trade.
If he makes a change his window will turn normal again aswell as yours forcing you to click trade again.
Blizz did try and prevent this from happening, just take care and dont trade to fast.

Sorry for you'r loss though.

That dude tried the same with my Skull Flame shield, /w me and I told him no. He pays the full price on AH or none at all. Sounds very very much like the same dude.

lol, just open a ticket with the GM and make him suffer. Then get all your buddies to open tickets complaining about him and get him booted. spam his mail, send him linen cloth with a 500g COD. Damn the Man

Post on both official and unofficial realm forums, but be warned that u must post screenies or your just gonna get flamed.
 
And post a warning in the trades, type /who Iamas so you can see if he is in a guild, report to that guild's guild master.
 
Bugger that! :eek: Glad it wasn't me - well, at least the rest of us can learn from this lesson. :D Hope you get him booted.

Rather COD or lower buyout at auction house. Surely as Saffer you have an inbuilt ability to distrust anyone when it comes to making "cash" exchanges tho ;)

I screenshot everything.

I still have screenies of an open trade with a beggar where i put 100g but never clicked trade and just waited till he got fed up :D
 
LOL, thats just evil :p

I will remeber next time to make screenies...just hope there won't be a next time (I won't allow it anyway)

I should be back on again tomorrow night. Had all my things done that was suppose to be completed before the festive season. I missed WoW these 2 weeks. It was like going of Heroin :eek:

lol, i sort of do that but with a twist. I first put in 1g but then change it to 1 copper before i hit trade
