I washed a pillow won't drain

hi everyone I washed my pillow and the stuffing came out and now my washing machine won't drain.

As a non-plumber, I would at least check if outlet pipe is clear. Chances are that you will get better suggestions than this but hey I tried.

Assuming there's no stuffing trapped anywhere else the first thing you need to check is the pump filter, it will have a removable panel and then a screw cap, at the base of the washing machine usually.

Be warned, its a messy job but that filter probably received all the stuffing and blocked up.

if it is a front loader at least, there should be a small little access panel near the bottom right generally, open it and remove the cap, there is probably something stuck in there, but be prepared for the flood. You should probably start by first checking the outlet pipe.

What type of washing machine?

Either the filter, pump or the drain is blocked.

This, had something very similar a couple years back (not a pillow but drainage still blocked).
