i20/Accent Auto

Good day

I'm going to purchase either a new/demo i20 or a Accent 1.6 auto as I'm tired of manual shifting. Anyone here have either that can share their experience? The Accent doesn't seem as popular as the i series of Hyundais but I assume its as well put together as its stable mates?

4 speed autos? Blegh... I'd rather look at something like this.

I drive an auto Elantra. That gearbox is pretty smooth but it is a 6 speed. I love it, but will definitely only recommend an auto box if you are prone to getting stuck in traffic jams. Fuel consumption is higher and a 4 speed box is just a bit "ancient".

My wife has the i10 Auto. Done about 40k km and not a days problems. The gear changes are smooth, both up and down. No complaints at all, it simply works.
