Hi Guys

I'm looking for a memory kit for my i7-920 & MSi Pro-E motherboard which supports 1333 / 1600(OC)DDR3 memory. I'm not really into heavy overclocking (never done it before) but I might crank it up to 3GHZ on air. I have the following in mind:

Team Group DDR3-1600 6GB (3x2GB) Xtreem Dark Memory Module Kit

OCZ DDR3-1600 6GB (3x2GB) Intel i7 Memory Module Kit
http://www.sybaritic.co.za/store/product_info.php?cPath=30_414&products_id=39619

Any other recommendations?
Will the motherboard set itself to 1600 from the XMP profile, seeing as the Pro-E supports 1600(OC)?
TIA

No Corsair kits available?

Only RAM that I would use for a bad boy pc.

Either one will be good dude, honestly between manufacturer there will be little performance gain. That ocz looks lekka though.

Thanks guys. What's the performance difference between 1600 & 1333 and/or are timings more important?

Either will be cool.

I just wouldn't get something like Hynix

No dude there is a tiny performance increase, only if you run a benchmark between 1600/1333, even 2000 is like 1-3% better than 1333. Good pricing for 6gb mem though.

Get whatever is the cheapest. Perfomance difference with DDR3 is minimal. ABout 3% maximum difference between slowest and fastest.

I bought the 6GB Team Xtreem DDR3 kit and I see that it runs at 1.65V. Will it work fine with the mobos default 1.5V memory voltage?
