Guys...
I'm sorry to post another question...

Would it be worth it upgrading to 6gigs of Ram from 3?
Currently running at 1600 with the OCZ's.
Am I honestly going to notice a difference in performance for the money?

Or should I just OC the Processor? I don't know...

Have a great day !

You will notice the difference in 64 bit OS I reckon. Depends what you use it for though. Gaming definitely. But it's quite an expensive upgrade to put in 6gb 1600mhz ocz ram. Have you tried oc'ing yet? i7 can be fiddly apparently, high clock ram will help a lot.

Yes definitely! I upped 2gb to 6gb and the difference was massive for my gaming and a lot of my design work

Well what software do you use most often ... my guess would be you will see an improvement, especially if you open a lot of windows at a time. I would ask you if you just do simple stuff like one or 2 documents, then no, you wouldn't ... but you went for an i7 system, so I'm guessing you do more complex stuff and more at a time, in which case more ram = happier you ;)

off topic: i tightened my ram from 5-5-5-15 to 4-4-4-12 but not i get a slower superpi score . . .

anyone care to explain?

btw, it's ocz platinum 800mhz running at 845mhz on 2.0volts

Strange....
Well I can afford it. I only use my PC for gaming really.
Just not sure if its Really worth the jump :)

Yes it is worth it. Judging by your specs you don't mind spending money on hardware anyway :D. I don't see the point of having only 3gb on a core i7 system with a 295. Even if you don't notice the difference you feel it.

Hmmm.
Well Im reinstalling windows at the moment.
DX 10 stopped working.
Maybe its a way to go. And a different CPU cooler since everyone mocks me about that :(
