We are looking for some IBM servers and want to know who is the official distributor for IBM servers. One thing I'm looking for is fast response when we ask for like prices etc etc.

Try AxizWorkgroup.. I bought one a few months back from them, it's a distributor so You will need an account with them
 
yeah I know. BTW we already with first distribution but Their service is sort of crap. Takes 1 full day to get a simple quote from them. And the sales person said He's busy and my quote won't be soon...lol. I bought servers from Pinnacle Africa and whenever I ask for quote they come back to me in about 1-2HRs Might be even less.
 
Try Glacier Consulting. Our company uses them for both hardware and software procurement and support purposes...

They are good. They are actually now a part of the EOH group, and are an IBM Tier 1 business partner. Have not had any issues with them.

They provide us with support on our entire African operational environment as well, so Pretoria should not be an issue.

Give their site a look. Two of their managers are actually based full time on our site:

I'm still waiting for the quote from Glacierconsulting but I received a quote from Axiz workgroup. and i must say they actually give me what I need. But in the end I'm deciding to go with other brand of servers cause having to wait like a full day for a simple quote is a bit long.
