Iburst and Dota 2

I am posting this on behalf of my mate.

He has iburst and plays Dota 2 on local servers. he gets ping from 300ms - 1000ms.

He stays in North Riding area.

Is this normal for iburst.

My offspring says he's getting a ping of 89ms, using an iBurst 2Mbps modem with flat panel antenna.

Sounds normal for iBurst. Question - why is he with them? They are the worst WISP in SA.

Im in this area as well with a 1 mb modem. Usually I play with around 80ms - 100ms with no issues. However in the past 2 weeks iBurst has deteriorated and Dota 2 has become unplayable. Now my ping is almost always above 200ms. Tell your friend to wait it out until iBurst fix their sh*t and to also get an antenna because that should help stablise the connection.
