iBurst and dynamic DNS

Hi there

We are having excessive IP updates with our iburst clients using the dyndns.org services.

In general, every 5 minutes there's an forced update.

I want to find out where the problem is - as dyndns.org will and shall block accounts which have excessiv update times.

Is it in fact updating with a new IP or is what ever system you're using to do the update just updating too often?
My current iBurst connection hasn't dropped in 3day:18h:5m:6s .. Still the same IP.
FYI and what i'd do, if your client requires a static IP, this service is available from iBurst at R199 a month extra (I think). That is probably what you should be looking at.

I had this problem using the DynDNS Windows Client. It was resolved when I switched to a router that handled the updates (Linksys w/DD-WRT firmware). What are you using to handle the updates?
