iBurst and Steam.

Its not you its Iburst. i gave my 30days notice after 5 years. Has gone from a 100Kb/s service to under 5Kb/s service. BTW same PC and account works great with uncapped ADSL. Finally "cashed" in my Dirt 2 voucher i got with my ATI 5870. Bought Torchlight for 5 dollars and pre ordered R.U.S.E.

:wtf: One would think they would not shape or throttle that service .... the more Megs you can move in a short time the Quicker you will need to buy more Gigs ....

my steam isn't happy either since this morning. the cable break [or what ever] might have made iburst throttle us to death because of limited supply?

Did the same recently. Iburst was just not worth it anymore. Constantly used to get issues with Steam while on Iburst. Downloads/updates were truly a nightmare. Either so slow, I could probably have swam to US, copied update etc, swam back and been done before Iburst finished downloading. Or It would start and disconnect a 100 times. Then sometimes couldn't even connect to Steam servers. Or would connect, but would get this game is not available currently message? WTF? It's installed on my PC, where could it be if it's not available? Changed to DSL and never looked back.
