Hi All,

Some clarification on the following would be appreciated, below is a spreadsheet dump from my data usage report Peter from IBurst advance support was glad to provide as r00igev@@r promised.

Date/Time Total (Downloaded+Upload) Balance
04/28/2010 07:04:43 120.824 841mbs
04/28/2010 08:04:41 57.292 681mbs
04/28/2010 08:04:42 57.292 624mbs
04/28/2010 08:04:43 159.65 841mbs
04/28/2010 09:04:03 113.081 567mbs
04/28/2010 09:04:24 97.968 454mbs

Date/Time - 04/28/2010 07:04:43
-On 04/28/2010 07:04:43 my data BAL was 841mbs, at 08:04 I’m listed as having 681mbs left, now follow me on this one, I Burst Insomnia runs from midnight until 08:00?, if so that means I downloaded a total of 160mbs (841mbs-681mbs) in a period of 4 minutes 41 sec, now is such speed possible with my current iBurst connection?

Between 04/28/2010 07:04:43 and 04/28/2010 08:04:43 my data balance went from 841mbs to 624mbs then went back to 841mbs, please explain how this is possible without any data purchases beeng made?

Date/Time - 04/28/2010 09:04:03 - 04/28/2010 09:04:24
-At 09:04:03 I used a total of 113mbs and at 09:04:24 I used 97mbs, does this mean I downloaded a 97mbs in 21seconds?

I was informed by Yasin from the call centre,(call ref 001-00-158-183) the is a limitation to the Iburst Insomnia if you visiting YouTube or PeertoPeer networks, please clarify as I was not aware of this, my understanding is Insomnia is FREE nothing will be taken from my DATA balance during this the time.

Much Thanks,
Mjmapi

Well, first off, 97MB is 21 seconds? I don't think so, thats not right.

Secondly, my understanding is that between midnight and 8am is completely free bandwidth usage, regardless of what you are using. I've been abusing youtube in the mornings and I've never had it taken off my normal bandwidth.

I've been abusing youtube in the mornings and I've never had it taken off my normal bandwidth.

Same here, YouTube, Podcasts, Movie Trailers, Updates, the works.

I haven't experienced any issues. I really do hope iBurst keeps this service for free in the future.

This 64kbps & 128kbps service was a real let down, even Mental-Tree can't download at midnight without buying extra data.

Well that was my understanding too, Insomnia means FREE, nothing gets taken out of your DATA balance, maybe a iBurst representative can confirm if that's such a case and whats the Limitation as the Consultant i spoke to failed to clarify that part.

I have asked for copies of the usage reports and will verify if there is an issue and provide feedback.

r00igev@@r, does iBurst actually have a support centre??

I'm asking because no one has come back to me, and my complaint was two weeks ago .

tell the truth man, you're the ONLY iBurst personnel?
