I've finally had enough of iBurst. Now I can't purchase boosters - I could still do that in January. I'm getting an ADSL line. iBurst support is useless!

Next month is probably going to be a nightmare for a lot of Iburst customers. Since there is no more 64kbs service a lot of customers are going to run out of cap early in the month and then be unable to buy boosters due to their support systems not working.
I give Iburst another 4 - 8 months to be around. If they haven't closed by then they have either brought something new that people like or all iburst customers are idiots for staying.

Booster purchase is operational but has been disabled from the iBurst web site for those service providers who do not want their customers to obtain it directly from iBurst.

my account ended at the end of Feb. DSL was ordered today... telkom answered the call in 6 seconds did my application in less that 7 mins and said it would take about 7 days to have dsl active on my line. will be on 3g until dsl is active

now im just waiting for my refund from iburst coz they took money from my account on the 2nd of March even tho my account is no longer active.... wonder how long this is gonna take to get 200 rands back

You are probably not gonna get your money back - go to the bank and stop the debit order..

I am also fed-up. 1st I battled with a booster purchased 12 Feb. It still does not show on my Iburst account although they charged me DOUBLE for the booster and took it of my account end Feb.
I will be going to the bank tomorrow to stop the debit order as they have not answered my emails/queries on this issue. If they do not answer a query in 4 days when do you think they will be paying back the money?

I am opening a blog page in which I will openly tell people to avoid Iburst due to even worst service delivery than the worst Municipality in SA (and that says a lot). I will also protest against Iburst just taking any amounts of Money that they want from debit order and try and get as many people to avoid this fraudulent and illegal practice where IBurst just takes money which they are not entitled to. The few people who picks up this monies taken than battle their asses of to get their own money back (infact I think most spend as much to get their own money back which was fraudulently taken from their accounts without their consent and permission). I also have been battling since Nov/Dec to get invoices from IBurst so I do not know what mysterious amount they want to deduct from my account.

Well done Iburst. In my 30 Years you are the 1st company that actually get me this far to actually post a comment like this. To open a blog to dissuade people from joining you (with all the emails attached from the service I got from Iburst so you cannot do anything since I do nothing illegal by warning people). IBurst really started as a great company and now you are up to ****. There I said it.

I really think all these people I read about with monies taken should stand together and make cases of fraud against Iburst as well as a lekker big lawsuit. Maybe then big companies will start to care about their customers again.

To be fair - the money deducted was small amount and yes maybe I will not use my connection for fear that the booster is not in place and you charge me per minute or whatever fancy charge structure is in place. But hell If you guys just had the slightest idee what customer service meant half of this forum would be busy working or relaxing or doing whatever they would have with the HOURS spent trying to resolve issues which companies with a half-descent service would resolve in minutes/hours even a day.
