Why is iBurst so broken?

What's with the migrations not occurring?
What's with the failures others are experiencing?

The SAOL R599 deal - uncapped 384Kbps internet and line rental included seems like a good deal in comparison to the capped, shaped and now problematic offering iBurst is giving us.

Uncapped ADSL is a dream right now compared to iBust.

I've been with Digichilli (most users have mixed experiences on it so far but mine has been 100% positive) for 5 days and already have 12 gigs down. Pick your ADSL uncapped poison and revel in the downloadyness is what I say.

Though what else can they really expect after they shot themselves in the proverbial foot by removing the soft cap at a time like this?

Iburst are going backwards.

Screamer is offering UNCAPPED internet starting at R269.00 upwards in price.
when i start comparing Iburst prices and what one gets, i realised that not much as changed, it has now become more expensive.

Iburst need to start offering a pure UNCAPPED pakage if they want to compete with other ISP's. the idea of having this Bolt on uncapped feels like a scam to me, they just trying to squeeze every last penny from your pocket.

Neohell(i mean neotel) and screamer seem to be on the right track with their uncapped offering.
whats up with Iburst???? :(

All iburst need to do is implement a 384k uncapped package for about R450pm.

Can any of you check your bandwidth usage on ibursts site? I can't and I haven't received an e-mail usage report for about two weeks now :/

I'm with MWEB, but my usage is OK. It sometimes goes into "There is a problem with your account." mode, but is usually accessible some time later.

Obviously the whole migration process is going belly-up, the same way that the previous migration process in August had issues.

Maybe, it's broken, but some of us don't have a choice. So, it does not matter for some of us. Bad internet or no internet at all.

Eish! iBurst login website eeeezzzz broken today....:wtf::whistle::twisted::cry::love:

My telephone line is being installed tomorrow. I simply had enough of iBurst spiking to 64kbps. Hard to believe they want to take that away now.

Once the line is in and working I'll order an ADSL line through SAOL. Total monthly cost will be R640 odd. iBurst has got nothing in that price range even remotely close to 384kbps.

I finally got logged onto ibursts site but its of no use. Apparently I've used no bandwidth this month and I have none left... I haven't downloaded anything yet this month so I should still have about half of my cap but none-the-less I'm capped :/ I Don't get it, if I want to use the 64k bolt-on I have to be on a 5gig package... unless I still have cap on my 3gig package... Then the bolt-on comes for free and it kicks in whenever it wants to :?

Edit: Jannie if you happen to read this, it's time to get a refund for the Iboss system. It obviously doesn't work and it wont ever work. Get a refund, buy a new system and name it IHero(as it might save iburst from impending doom)
