iBurst Business

Now explain to me how in the name of space monkeys one can get uncapped for R800 a month when 10 gigs costs you R999. Its simply not possible. iBurst is really going to have to invest in better marketing because with Neotel growing, iBurst will be dead sooner then they know it, pretty soon we'll be using our iBurst modems as paper weights or burning them in bonfires.

I just can't understand why SA telecoms and internet companies INSIST on monopolizing the market, don't they realize that by even marginally lowering rates people will come flooding because at present, its almost impossible to afford. I know I'm going way off topic here, but honestly, how much longer will it take before your average household will have access to reliable internet with out having to check bandwidth usage even 5 min in fear that they might just run out?

If people want technology in SA to advance and expand, we should start by making basic, everyday infrastructure cheaper, i.e.: Internet Access!

I'll wait to see what it comes out as, I'm not too sure that iburst will make an uncapped option for R800. But hey, maybe they suprise us all and actually do something as radical as that.

This is surely targeted at small companies (very small companies), I for the life of me cannot see a company (even with 30 office workers) use iburst as their ISP. I would love to see that company receive emails, send emails, do research online and then the bean counters doing their online banking....all at once with one iburst connection :S

So the website said that iBurst Business was goning to be launched on 2 February 2009 but when i check the website on 5 February 2009 i find nothing or no mention iBurst Business. Anyone else have a link?

...wait a month or two; Vodacom has a surprise up their sleeve with new data tariffs, others might just follow suit.

Traditionally April/May is when iBurst & Vodacom change their prices.
Not sure if they are fixing them,
iBurst is selling Vodacom products and Vodacom is selling iBurst Products, just wonder if the competition commission will be interested in what is happening.
