I connect to my account with either the dash or the normal connect. It connects like it always has and then when i start browsing it will only load the first site without any images. No other site will load afterwards and links become "dead" (don't take me anywhere). This started early in November. Have no idea what is wrong.

This happens on my vista Laptop. If tested it with both my modems (laptop and desktop) and are the same issue.

You from Pretoria? The iburst website says there are technical issues in that area.

Nope. Gardens. Cape Town.

The location where the problem occurs is right here where i am connection from now. Also using iburst. So it's prob not got to do with the tower...

My internet is fine in Cape Town, but who.is.michael should be able to help with Gardens more specifically.

It's not an issue I've heard of unless you are capped, could this be possible?

It feels very much like a capped i burst... but worse. Makes no sense cus I've got over a gig of cap available. Maybe it's my vista. Gonna test it today with the work adsl and wireless. Will keep you guys posted. Thanks for the help thus far.

Gardens & the CBD Towers are some of the worst where throughput and connectivity are concerned. Only after June of this year, Gardens tower truly became stable. The CBD tower is useless as the tower is overloaded (always have been - think it belongs to Sentech) and access speeds are rather poor.

WBS “recently” reconfigured the tower (Gardens) and your MTU must now be set to 1352, not sure if this could be your specific issue. Also, I would strongly advise you to set your preferred DNS to 208.67.220.220 and your alternative DNS to 196.46.70.1.

Provide me with more info or have a look at this thread...

Yeah it's definitely something with the iBurst. Will try again tonight on my lappy. The wireless here at work was working 100% so it's has to iBurst. Will keep you posted. Thanks.
