Hi,

Stupid question, but have to ask this as I dont trust anything in telecoms :p

With iBurst packages you get:
• Free delivery,
Free mailbox with 5 aliases & a 10MB limit per month
• Free fax2email service
• Data carryover
• No out-of-bundle charges when cap is reached on Pro packages. Speeds are merely throttled.
• Unrestricted VoIP

I assume that 10mb is meaning 10mb stored on their server... but infinite receiving of email?

And...

Intro 200 MB R199 (with desktop modem for PC)
----
The modem should be plug and play with an Xp home PC?

Thanks!

I think they give you a 10MB mailbox.

Why not get it through MWEB and get 5 aliases, 5 seperate mailboxes of 20MB each and one of those 5 a main mailbox of 2GB.

Yes I know Yahoo and Google offer way more, but this is 2GB local and if iBurst decides to differentiate local from international traffic, those 2GB will be worthwhile.

You also get free fax2email, data carryover and delivery etc from MWEB. You also get a 10MB or 20MB personal website from MWEB.

Oh yes, why are you getting a desktop modem? You can get a cheaper USB modem which is ultraportable and works like a charm.

...and don't forget you also get two years of paying for these services, but there is no guarantee that you will be able to use it at all!

Think carefully before signing any contract with a South African ISP, as none of them have any guaranteed service levels; only guaranteed payment options.
