As stated in previous posts, I'm using an Omni antenna outdoors, which obviously connects to my Iburst desktop modem(the black one). From there I'm running a lan cable from its' cat5 port to a wireless SMC broadband routers' WAN port. Everything works fine and I have no problems.
What I would like to know is this, how can I determine what my signal strength is, because as far I can tell, the Iburst Dashboard only works via the USB connection. I'm running Windows 7 if that helps in any way. And the dashboard is the only way I've been able to see what the signal strength is in terms of a percentage. Yes I know you have red, yellow and green lights, but that doesn't really help. That's like saying you scored an A for an exam/test, but that could be anything from 80%-100%.
Anybody have any ideas?
PS: Do you think the Iburst help desk folks read these posts?
