AFAIK this outage was cause by power problems in Gallo Manor ... anyone hosting in the UUNET facilities have an outage?

Err no. There was no power failure here.

Unless of course, it was just UUNET that lost power
UUNet have huge generators. They shouldn't have been affected by a power failure even if there was one
