My iburst connection has improved significantly since the hogs were jacked. Sorry dudes! it still has problems though, not perfect by any stretch of the imagination, but at least its better!
 
ok last time i'm sayine this, its not because anyone was suspended that your connection improved its because they installed a bandwith manager that works. infact even people that never paid to get un-suspended are now back on the network, people are still downloading as much as they used to... some more so
 
why do you have to post stuff like that now? You have no idea how good or bad my basestation or connection is, look if you're going to go into any thread I post in and make some flagrant remarks just for the fun of it I suggest you get a hobby

GC, there you go quoting again. So much for my ignore list :D Anyway, i think it's just a quest to reach that "magical" 500 post count and be an "ADSL Master" ;)

I feel like personally attacking a certain individual but I'm over that $hit. WBS haven't suspended anyone else after last week so if anyone thinks iBurst has improved cause the 'hogs' are gone is mistaken. I'm still here & I'm staying.

Arggh, I forgot the ignore list... I was being optimistic, hoping against hope that at least one post would be worth reading. So when he hits 500 he becomes an "ADSL master" debater? :eek: Figures...

not another one. those "hogs" you refering to has since then been re-connected. WBS now has a semi-proper bandwidth throttling system, their bandwidth throttling system DID NOT work.... so please, go back to the hole you crawled out from, im getting sick of people joining up and posting this kind of **** we've been OVER AND OVER WITH WITHOUT READING THE GAWD DAMN FORUMS!
 
The people who believes that "abusers" crap form WBS are the kind who stays quiet, after their uncle molested them, just because he said "its our little secret ;) "

Perhaps the reason is simply that they installed/purchased/stole a new pipe, changed the packet shaping rules from 'sommer' everything back to just P2P, sorted out the bandwidth monitor (sort of), adjusted, tweaked and and attempted to address some of the network issues they were having?

I-Beast has how many users?, a few thousand at least and if the 150 "Hoglike in appearance type people" they suspended were all downloading 24/7 at the maximum rate their modems would allow, managed to affect the speed of the 'conservative & responsible' type users, Well, then WBS should fire their bandwidth quantity guy, because he really under calculated and skimped. They should also cease and desist in signing up more users because their current network just can't support more.
