Is the Iburst hub down?
I get "No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it"

Why do I get a feeling that iBurstgroup has something to do with this, because jonty always informs us when something is wrong with the hub.

It's HIGHLY unlikely Iburst had ANYTHING to do with this. If Iburst blocked the connection we'd probably get a socket or host not found error and not the one we're getting which states that the problem is on the server's side.

Only thing we can really do right now is wait.

hmm, I was gonna start this thread, guess I'm too late :) well the hub has a week to fix itself or else its another month of waiting before I can go back on the hub :(

Hey guys. iBurst hub is back up - we had firewall issues, but it's sorted out.

On a side, I will shortly be moving the hub to my own hardware in a different hosting centre. will keep you guys posted.

:(

i keep getting the following message when i try to connect to the hub:
*** Connecting to ibust-za.kicks-ass.net:20891...
*** Connected
*** Connection reset by server

doesnt seem to be the same error all of you are getting... any ideas?

I accidentally got myself banned for spamming by pasting an error message i got in the main chan. would one of the ops be so kind as to unban me please. Nick: helvete

Are you from Cape Town?

If you are consider yourself unbanned if it hasn't happened already.

otherwise, im sure someone will get to you some time, I dont have a PC of my own for now.. so no DC++.

imterro, Maybe u should just log on using another name for now just to get on, I'll be waiting there for the whole unban issue.
