Iburst ICS Problem

Hi guys

Can anybody please help?

I have a USB Iburst modem, Windows 7.

Just got a laptop and sitecom Wireless Router 54g WL-607.

I have fine access between the laptop and desktop, file sharing etc. but cannot get the internet to connect on the laptop.

On the desktop, the lan says "no internet access"

I have enabled ICS

Unfortunately I dont have a desktop modem to plug directly into the wan port on the router.

I'd suggest looking for tutorials on ICS and proper setup/testing

You need to setup Windows internet sharing and always leave your pc on. It will serve as the internet hub for the laptop.

hey nologic, desktop on all the time, this is really doing my head in. got internet sharing setup via the lan, so all pc's on the network should have net access as they can see each other and access files visa versa...

acid, will have a look around for tutorials, do you by chance have a suggestion for sites with good tutorials?
