iBurst in Africa

Looks like iBusrt might just be expanding in other parts of Africa,
I realised that tradepage have registered couple of domains for iBurst which they hope will be deployed in these countries.

www.iburstbotswana.com
www.iburstnigeria.com
www.iburstghana.com

These are the one I found to be registered by tradepage, there might be more.
Going to the tradepage website i realised that the Chairman is the same guy who is also the CEO if iBurst.

lol, so thats why there are "partnerships" between them and Iburst. Just to show we have friends...

The expansion seems rather huge... 5 countries to get Iburst, hey.. they should finish up here first.

Egypt should be interesting. They will have to have great prices in order to be competitve, as Egypt already has fast and quite cheap broadband. If they price and cap the same way as in SA, it would never work.
It will be interesting to see if they offer higher speeds or cheaper rates to Egypt.. then we can complain like hell for a price cut down here.

EDIT: I checked out the links.. Iburst ghana is already a fully working page, it says that they are already live in a pre launch phase. Interesting, so noone heard abotu this but htey were alraedy fully set up in Ghana.
their 1 gig month 2 month package will cost the equivilent of 665.70. AN d 3gigs is double that.. poor Ghana.

Well feul i can understand, it comes from the middle east.. easier for Egypt. But why broadband, if they can do it in... okay no wait. Its exactly the same thing.

Egypt is closer to Europe for one thing, and probably have cheap bandwidth pipes in the country, geuss its all Telkoms fault once again.

now some useless info off-topic .. i work on the petrol pipeline project "Siemens Automation" that transfer petrol from KZN through-out our country ....

so now ...tell me Namibia get their fuel from SA and why are Namibia selling it for cheaper than what you can get it locally ??? and the same with Botswana

Well, that's how South Africa operate! See, our electricity, telecoms, fuel, well, anything you can think of, is more expensive than in other African countries. I guess we just love getting shafted?
