Iburst in Pta North

Is there any one in PTa North that has poor signal strength and poor downloads and uploads. I there a problem with the Tower's signal or what? The online gaming is also not good and get disconnected from Black Ops many times.

Hope is not just me that has the problem

Please provide more details on location.
 
I am in the Dorandia area.

My signal strength jumps up and down and i just moved 4 flats away from my last flat in the same complex. i also have a external antenna that is out side on the grass.
 
I sort off make a hole in the grass where the omni stands in, we cant bolt it to the walls or nothing. I would have tried to take a pole but I think it will interfere with the omni's signal or something. Will the height of the omni do a difference , where it now stands on the ground?

That installation does not sound optimal. Do you have a DSTV dish? Mount it to that. Alternatives are the ballistrade on balconies or even the burglar bars or curtain rail in a window.
 
Well the iburst modem is at my pc, and the cable is connected to the iburst and then it goes out side the window where the burglar bars is, to the grass. The balconies has there rail ling so could it also be that it interferes with the signal also?

No, but ground level is too low. Do you have windows to the South east?
 
My antenna is at the North east side. At the South East windows is a big Complex building. so i dont think it will work there.
 
I tried it last night to put the omni at my window at the direction where the tower is on the mountain. The signal strenght is 40%. cant put the omni out side there because there is people moving to i moved it back to the origanel place, but now i just use the desktop modem and the signal jumps from 94% to 60% and in between. Its never stable so dont know hey,
