My Sons!

Can anyone help me here please.

I want to connect a belkin router with the desktop modem.

I plugged in the router to the modem with the lan cable then
another one from the PC to one of the 4 ports.

So its from PC to hub and from hub to modem...

The modem recognises this because the lan light on it goes green.

Once i restart the computer the "iburst" network is no longer connected
and it doesnt want to connect until i unplug everything from the router and
restart.

Any ideas? thanks!!

just access the router web interface, go to PPPoE setup, type in your iBurst username qualifed by the realm.

I'm confused

I'll take it back tomorrow then. The guy there specifically told me
it would work with iburst. What an idiot.

Will a microsoft router work?

iBurst & Belkin is not compatible! - most probably another Incredible Corruption purchase. Get decent equipment, I suggest Netgear only.

urm that is such utter nonsense, I have 2 Belkins on iburst and it works flawlessly!

firstly you need to connect your iburst to the WAN section of the router then in your settings add under PPPoE your username and password and set your MTU to the default (1452 - if I remember correctly) if it does not cater for 1352 enable connect automatically and disconnect = 0

if it keeps disconnecting then flash the bios on the router it'll fix the issue

well as far as I know SA has had the the MIMO in for the last 2 years already.

The N1 was launch at the beginning of last year and both of them works with iburst
